Our story
A Mechanic Who Actually Explains Things
We started Avis Auto Repair on the idea that a repair shop should treat your time and your questions with respect. Before any work begins, we walk you through what's actually wrong with your car and what it will take to fix it.
From tricky electrical gremlins to routine oil changes, we handle the job ourselves rather than passing it along. If you'd rather supply your own parts, we're happy to install them for you.
We're a small, busy shop in Hayward, and most of our work comes from customers who've sent a friend our way after a job well done.
